A few days ago, the WA Government announced a $6.85 million “shark mitigation strategies”. One of the strategies they are going to implement is to “cull” the sharks. In other words, kill them – probably in the hundreds.

Why are they doing that? Well, because there have been 7 fatalities due to shark attacks… in the last 3 years. I probably don’t have to tell you just how irrational all this is. In fact, a dog is more likely to kill you than do sharks.
