Can you add PayPal as a ‘financial institution’? It is not a bank but if I transfer money from my bank account to PayPal and then make many payments in PayPal then I would like to see each of those payments itemised in pocketbook rather than a single transfer to paypal.

    thanks!

Hi Men, Firstly your email link on the Vote Here page for suggesting other financial institutions seems to be dead. Didn’t send me anywhere.
I came by your website from the article in The Australian today. Why from your Homepage do you not state clearly whether this is for PC’s as well as other platforms before entering my email. WE got to be careful out there throwing our precious email addresses about as we get enough crap back as it is.
Where are your own videos explaining what this app/programme is all about and how it runs? Like where do you get the info from and do we authorise you to delve into our banking records on a live basis. This website should be more dynamic not just a motley collection of digital pamphlets we just try and trawl through. The article in todays press was good publicity you should be ready for the people like me who want simplicity are not that tech savvy and hate trying to work out what it is all about.
Goodluck I hope also with more info folks can see the folly of supporting our gouging banks. Mt financial instituation I would like added is

We are a web-based tool that works on browsers on all devices. We are currently working on both iPhone and Android native applications. We believe the product we build is easy enough for users to use with not much instruction. We will create more videos and how-tos at a later date. Please use the feedback tab to get to us for quick responses.

How soon is soon? That’s an unfortunate piece of lacking functionality – not being able to sync and differentiate PayPal payments.
For example all of my phone bills are paid with paypal, but in this system it only recognises “PayPal Payment 123456789”.
Pocketbook is awesome – PayPal integration will make it more so!

Hi Dain, integration with Paypal is planned for sometime in the second half of this year. Unfortunately there’s been a lot of conflicting deadlines! 🙂

    Hi there Bosco

    Any updates on Paypal support?

    Regards

    Grant

+1 for PayPal. This would be a real bonus for PocketBook.
Understandably there are conflicting deadlines but this has been on the roadmap for two years.
Is there an ETA for PayPal? Is it being developed or still on the roadmap?

  6. Andrianes Pinantoan   •

Hi Reuben, it’s definitely on the roadmap. We’ll look into speeding up our integration pace early next year as we focus on upgrading our backend for this year. Sorry about the delay!
