1. 50% off Makita cordless drill – link

You can find cordless drills for under $100, but it’s never one from a reputable brand name. Bunnings is offering these Makita drills for $99 (down from $199 rrp). Happy fixing and renovating!
2. Save $30 on Apple iPad Air – link

The Apple iPad Air just got launched in Australia. BigW is selling these for $30 less than the official Apple.com prices. Not a huge saving, but good considering its for a new Apple release that rarely gets discounted.
3. Fly Sydney to Kuala Lumpur return for $257 – link

AirAsia is offering discounted fares to celebrate their 6th birthday. Apparently there are further discounts when you book multiple flights. Some 50-60% cheaper than other comparative flights.
4. Fly domestic with Qantas for cheap – link

Qantas is offering some of the cheapest domestic flights for some time. The discount covers 5 Jan 2014 – 30 Jun 2014 and covers flying in school holidays. Great for families looking to forward plan something to do.
5. NBA League Pass – Free Trial – link

The NBA season just started in the US and the official league website is offering trial of its League Pass subscription. League Pass allows fans to watch every single game played via streaming live or on delay.
